FAQ

Common questions.

Do I need fighting experience?

No. Second Round is for first-time White Collar Muay Thai fighters. You don't need previous fight experience, and applicants must not have competed in a fight before. Training and preparation are handled through the participating host gyms.

Who can apply?

Applications are open to adults aged 18 and over. Fighters must train through one of the participating host gyms and be suitable for the beginner White Collar Muay Thai format.

Can external fighters apply?

No. Fighter places are only available through the participating host gyms. This keeps training, matching, safety, and event preparation consistent across the full eight-week block.

Is there an equipment fee?

Yes. There is a £50 equipment fee for fighters. This helps cover essential training and event requirements. Full details will be confirmed during onboarding.

How many tickets do fighters need to sell?

Each fighter is expected to sell a minimum of 10 tickets. This helps build the fight-night crowd and supports the fundraising target for the chosen cause.

When and where is the event?

Second Round takes place on Sunday 9 August 2026 at Empire, Aldershot. Doors and final timings will be confirmed closer to the event.

How does the fundraising work?

Fundraising will happen through fighter ticket sales, donations, sponsorship, raffles, and on-the-night activity. Donations will also be accepted through the official JustGiving page once the link is live.

Can I donate without attending?

Yes. If you can't attend the fight night, you can donate directly through the JustGiving page. The link will be added here as soon as it's live.

How do I buy tickets?

Ticket details will be released closer to the event. The booking link will be added here as soon as the ticket provider is confirmed.

How can a business sponsor the event?

Two packages are available: Premium at £500 and Executive at £1,000. Sponsorship includes event visibility, promotional placement, and fight-night exposure. Sponsor enquiry contact details will be confirmed shortly.

Do I need my own kit?

Your host gym will advise what you need for training. Any required kit, equipment, and safety details will be confirmed during onboarding.
